Compared to Centrum Advance, it contains increased levels of selected vitamins such as some B group vitamins for energy, and antioxidants such as Vitamin E to help support immunity. Centrum Advance 50+ is also a source of calcium. Adequate dietary calcium helps to maintain bone health which is important as we get older.

Recommended Dietary Intakes (RDIs) and Centrum

Centrum Advance 50+ does not contain excessive levels of vitamins and minerals but is developed with levels close to the RDIs as the role of a multivitamin is to supplement the diet, not replace it. Centrum Advance 50+ is ideal for filling nutritional gaps in your diet.

 

The recommended daily amount of Vitamin A from all sources is 700 micrograms retinol equivalents for women and 900 micrograms retinol equivalents for men.

 

Directions for use

Adults: Take one Centrum Advance 50+ tablet daily with water. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

WARNING: When taken excess of 3000 micrograms retinol equivalents, vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your healthcare professional before use if you are breastfeeding. This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. Do not exceed a daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements. Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Not for the treatment of iron deficiency conditions.
